It's not so much "fools" as it is a complete lack of rules or guidelines of any sort on this website. The mods seem to have free reign and that suits John just fine I guess. For me, that's problematic. Why have a website and allow others to dictate policy "as they please"?

There needs to be clear cut rules which are equally enforced. It often happens mods power trip or sometimes have it in for another poster and use their authority in an abusive manner. We just need to put up with it and keep complaining until something is done about it. Don't let them run you off. Your one of the guys who contributes here and there aren't many. Stick around bro.

I appreciate that. I am emotional right now. It's not even so much that there was a warning issued. Maybe you could say "If Reload hadn't issued Cougar that Warning" but it's much more than that. It's really the last thing I can take. There's no consistency whatsoever of the implementation of rules/guidelines to posting on this forum. There never has been.

Has anyone noticed not a single mod has been in here to dispute any of this? The reason is they have no argument.

They should post a Mod Schedule in the FAQ, or somewhere. So we know who is suppose to be on duty at all times. So we know who to contact at what time of the day or week. This would also give us a indication on who is overlooking certain topics.

Sure I can. I appreciate the well wishes. Honestly I always felt like a guy who was constantly defending himself here so it's bit surprising. Maybe that's because of the points give away, who knows. I am hoping enough of the right guys get in this thread by the end of the night.

I've only been around here for two and a half years or so, but things have definitely changed and it's not for the better. This used to be a good place with real people helping each other out. We were all out for the same cause and there was a certain level of honor among thieves, if you will. I guess that's the only reason I keep coming back -- because I know who I can and can't rely on. Those posters are slowly but surely leaving, and Cougar is one of them. Hope he changes his mind -- otherwise, it's just one less reason to come back.

Hard to say I disagree - fact is there are no ties that really bind people here, and in a site full of degenerates, you never know when someone might turn bad on you (something which I've unfortunately dealt with a few times myself). But in the gambling world, probably that's just something you've got to accept about many of the people you are going to end up dealing with.

I don't get this thread, maybe because I've only been a member on here for about 2 years now. It seems like CB is leaving SBR because it has gone to shit according to him or something? All I've known is the way SBR is now, how was it different back in 2008 or whatever? All I've known is the way it is now.

BTW I agree that some of the moderators on this site are not the best quality, last year SBR was getting hammered in high chalk ML parlays and all of a sudden they changed the payouts so it wasn't true odds anymore and I made a thread letting everybody know. Everybody was getting pissed at SBR in the thread because of the no warning change, and all of a sudden my account was limited from posting. Every time I tried to post, it popped up with error messages that said I had to wait 9999 seconds, I had to e-mail the forum admin to get posting privileges back to normal. I thought that was bull shit for a sportsbook watch dog website to do to somebody that complained about them, I guess you can complain about other books but don't dare complain about SBR.

Besides that one incident though, SBR has been a nice website and I haven't run into any other problems. Play some poker, gamble points, make fun of people that post "LOCK" plays that always lose, get peoples opinions on football teams to make sure I'm not overlooking something, I enjoy SBR overall.

BTW if anybody is interested in those threads links are below, they make for a good read, SBR didn't handle the situation that great. They could have just posted, "We are getting hit hard in football and now are reducing payouts drastically".....instead they said nothing until I noticed it then just said, "Our parlay promo has ended" and closed the 1st thread. There was never a parlay promo that was announced though.

Anyways, I think parlays/teasers now payout the correct odds....so they must have a promo going again right..........

I certainly am not saying that SBR is a bad website. On the contrary, I am saying that most of the goings-on here have allowed me to be a better gambler, better video maker, and better cooker

However, the fact that ceratain things have not been addressed over years and years of fuzzy "rules" brings me to this point. I am merely one poster, taking a stand for specific rules and regulations of this forum which simply do not exist. They only exist in the mind of the mod on duty. And to me, that makes very little sense as a poster. Quite simply, you must know the rules before you play the game.
