Making his first appearance in professional baseball after a nearly five-year hiatus that included battling charges that he lied to Congress about using performance-enhancing drugs, Clemens pitched 3 ⅓ scoreless innings for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League in a 1-0 win over the Bridgeport Bluefish.
He threw 37 pitches, 24 of them strikes. He struck out two and walked none, and for the most part pitched to contact and relied on his defense to make quick work of the Bluefish.

He maxed out at 88 MPH but his placement and control were excellent. Clemens can still play MLB for sure
