New England’s most entertaining and informative coverage of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics & Bruins. Stream, read and download WEEI 93.7 FM from any device on Audacy

Adrian wouldn't come cheap and the Dodgers prob. have the best to offer of any team but would the Sox ever bight? I'm obviously a Sox guy but dont see this happening unless they plan on getting rid of everyone. They would be idiotic to get rid of Adrian and give Jacoby a contract so I believe this just passes.

ESPN Radio's Jim Bowden reports the Red Sox have no intention of trading Adrian Gonzalez to the Dodgers after he was claimed on waivers.

When I asked a member of Red Sox front office a few minutes ago..are you trading Adrian Gonzalez to Dodgers next 48 hours? response "NO!!!"

they really want to shed his contract and Crawfords the most. Crawford is the X factor in the deal. if LA doesn't take him it's over.

they would use all that money that would be free'd up on starting pitching.

10:00pm: Crawford has the Dodgers on his partial no-trade list and the outfielder has yet to be asked to accept a trade, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (via Twitter). It has been previously reported that Crawford can block trades to two clubs but Heyman writes that Crawford has the ability to block trades to three teams.
