Check out the SBR Pro application, and if you have any questions, shoot it in this thread or via PM.

#43Step in the right direction for sure. For US members we should be able to go pro on points as well. Having 5000 points returned to SBR does more to support SBR then donating to charity and then turning around and buying 200 worth of gift cards from the store.Comment -

#46Good news.
1) How far in advance can this be purchased (assuming it is good for one starting on the expiration date)?
2) Could the cost of this go up in the meantime?
Might want to buy it ahead of time while liquid before the points are blown?Comment -

#50No but I think we shoudl be able to because our options are charity only. And it's actually much more beneficial to SBR to let me spend 5K for a membership then to send 200 to charity and then spend 5K in their store.Originally posted by Easy-Rider 66Correct. #52That is a very good idea John. It gives the ones that has been a pro before a chance to be one if you can save that many points up or maybe get lucky on the casino, sports book, or a contest.Originally posted by SBR_JohnThe 2750 is for an ontime renewal. In other words renewing before your current upgrade expires. Which every Pro can avail themselves to at this point. We are looking at a higher price point for those who allow their upgrade to expire. Probably in the 3200 range.Comment -

#57Yeah I mentioned this in another thread, not sure why SBR/Lou doesn't allow this. Non-pros can bring a maximum of 5k points with them when they turn pro. So a non-pro with 5K points can donate $200 to charity to turn pro, which doesn't benefit SBR in anyway, then after they become pro they can use their 5K worth of points to buy $200 worth of gift cards in the SBR store. SBR loses $200 right away, when they could have charged non-pros 5K points to become Pro in the first place and most non-pros would rather pay points to become pro then donate $200 to charity.Originally posted by DJ DalamarNo but I think we shoudl be able to because our options are charity only. And it's actually much more beneficial to SBR to let me spend 5K for a membership then to send 200 to charity and then spend 5K in their store.
It's a win-win, SBR gets backs 5K in points for every person that turns pro. And people don't have to send $200 to a charity to become pro, when they would rather use points.
Hopefully Lou will read this and reply back on why they don't want to do this. It does nothing but benefit SBR.....I just don't understand.Comment -

#65You have to turn off adblock plus if you use Firefox or any other ad-blocking software, once I did that the pro options show up. Just go to the link Lou posted (http://forum.sbrforum.com/sbr-pro/) then click on one of the offers as shown below, and it will tell you the expiration date of your pro membership.Originally posted by RonPaul2008I clicked on that link and there are no SBR Pro methods to select on that page and no dates at all.

#66This has already been discussed several times. One of the main purposes of someone having to go through a 3rd party site is that their identity is verified at least twice. Mr Non Pro shipping over his 5k points to SBR for his membership is all fine and good but who's to say Mr Non Pro isn't shari91's 2nd account? A major part of my job deals with busting multi accounters - sometimes in groups of like 50+ - who keep coming up with fake passports, fake ids, etc to try to take advantage of the points program via Moneybookers, the Pro Program, etc. These guys try to hit all of us from sportsbooks to payment processors and banks and although some are pretty grade schoolish, others are quite sophisticated. Having built in layers of protection helps us all.Originally posted by Nittany LionYeah I mentioned this in another thread, not sure why SBR/Lou doesn't allow this. If everyone in the world were sweet and honest, it'd be a great idea. But someone having to provide a card, billing address, pin # on the back, etc at one site and then having to verify their details here helps to combat a lot of fraud. Buying memberships for points isn't feasible in the age of dodgy rats. Sorry.
