Excellent business model. Mods here are great comparable to other sites. Although I don't partake the contests and points program seem to be very user friendly. Posting community is what it is, some good some bad, some knowledgeable, some more pomp than circumstance but that is any posting community. Highly entertaining most of the time.

My only complaint would be the amount of spam e-mail the marketing has generated for me but I see it as what it is. Marketing savvy.

Really a fascinating concept here. Great job by all and kudos to Walker/Dozer and SBR marketing.

A ... by far the best forum around! If you are any kind of poker player/sports better/gambler you should be able to make the SBR PRO membership highly +EV.. also have met a lot of really cool people here with like interests, so I couldn't be more pleased with SBR!

Rated a C in comparison to the hayday of SBR 2010

- site is second rate for US compared to the perks for the ROW

- The main reason is the ratings. The A+'s are easy...so are the F's. True information and valuable information on where to deposit and where not to. The limbo comes in with the B+ rated sponsor books of today and yester year. The rating adjustments for WSEX and BetPhoenix were too slow. They were sponsors and when the sponsor money dried up the ratings soon lowered.

- Betonline being a B+. How can a book like Betonline be a B+ other than being a big paying sponsor? Threads and threads of poker confiscations. "missing" wires, and processing issues and nary an adjustment. Bovada got the proper lowering and raising when they had issues. BOL...nothing. How can a book be B+ (yes they pay evenutally but slow pay) when poster after poster have to fight and lodge complaints just to get their money back...no extra perks just fight like hell to get what is owed them.

I deposit on only two A+ sites...dont consider anywhere else so SBR is a C to me......I can get that 5dimes is A+ from a variety of sources.

The majority of posters add nothing (to SBR or, I suspect, life in general). SBR is a site that only caters to the lowest common denominator and the uneducated. So in that sense, it is an excellent business model - those that have no lives or intelligence just post all day and bring in great traffic. In turn, SBR rewards them with the hope of winning 10c in points and gives them something to do with their already wasted lives. Disclaimer: this doesn't apply to all posters, but the majority - particularly those that post 10x a day.

Stop judging other people, fool. There's a lot of intelligent people on this site. If you don't like it, then leave. Problem solved. No need to insult dedicated people that you don't even know. "I suspect"? Why don't you stop assuming? That your problem in a nutshell. SBR John put's out a damn good product and there's a lot of people behind the scenes and posters that take great pride.

Ideas

1) Hall of fame, are we still doing this J?
2) Debate Week. One week out of the year, or one day out of every week or two. There should be organized topics. Topics and posters (2 or 4) will be selected by the mods or admins. Mature, organized debate and posters will vote on who put up the best argument for that respective topic. It will encourage more participation from both lurkers and active participants. Move from legitimate peripheral participation. The topics can be related to sports/sports history/gambling.

3) Charity. By the time your $200 filters down to the person that needs it, it becomes $20. You can buy a bunch of groceries for struggling families who work hard but have just been unfortunate or unlucky. I'd much rather watch them smile and see that I'm making a difference and not paying for a charity employees lunch for the week, or his gas to get to and from the office....

4) The casino. Guys in here are catching onto the patterns and they are taking advantage of it, and the other guys like me that have no success with casino always get raped.

I've had many other ideas that I've thrown out in the past. I'm too drunk to think of the rest. Enough of this for now.

Other than that, SBR is awesome. Also, just have to keep some people in check like DAIMO and others that swear constantly all over the forum. If you're not a good poster who contributes to the board, you shouldn't be allowed to swear more than once a day
