I do not know for fact that they are discriminatory but they most certainly are degrading.

Adult males can and do register and volunteer and can also be on staff. Never met one yet that does the crafty girlie stuff with them, but have seen several do science events, robotics, canoeing, etc.

Same with the boy scouts, women can be in it however girls can not be in the "same" program. They have to be in the venturing program and that's only at 14 I think...
