JJ, what do you know about being an Affiliate
Can you do a video on this topic JJ?

i had a buddy, its been almost 2 years now, but he was a BIG Affiliate at Pinnacle, he somehow got yahoo to work for him wherein if you went to Yahoo and searched for "pinnacle sports" his link with his Affiliate attachment would be the one you got, needless to say, he always got paid by them, 9 dimes on settlement period i remember well. He hooked a whale who lost A LOT, over 100K in one settlement period.

Anyway, since that is no longer possible, and the search engines like google banned gambling adverts, it seems virtually impossible to do that Affiliate game anymore, of SBR has their banners up top, but they also have the page for people to come to. I'd LOVE to see what SBR's Affiliate take is every period!

I would have to think SBR gets advertising fee from the books, and not a player sign-up commission or %losses commission.

interesting, i know my buddy got the a % of their losses, and i don't think there was ever a period which he didn't get paid. The beauty of it is, he can only win/collect, he could not lose a penny, there was nothing to lose!

Right, anyone can sign up as an affiliate. You really need a website or blog to put up banners or links. Go to the affiliate section of any book for more info.

that is the reason we have to click affiliate link to sign up for contests, so they get % of losses

its more than easy IF you can get new signups...that can be very tough, but he had it setup on google AND yahoo a few years back, it was too good to be true

The only way now is to market your affiliate links on your blog or website. High search engine ranking using affiliate URL's doesn't work.

Virtually impossible now unless you spam big email lists and that is no guarantee. Secondly if you have a high traffic website with some banners up there you can get some players but to make any decent cash off affiliates it is really hard.
