You can definitely see the chemistry between Cutler and the receivers. Cutler was all smiles and he didn't even get sacked, haha

Yes it does. I mean toughest division in football in my opinion, but if you can make it through that into the playoffs any team from the North has a good chance. BEAR DOWN!

I agree, but the Bears offense will be a to 25% team. Defense will be old but still pretty decent. They just have a super tough schedule.

Bears were 11-5 in 2010, Bears were on pace to be 11-5 in 2011... now they added a solid second RB and an elite WR to a team that needed a WR... 11-5/12-4 is a reasonable prediction. Period.

Indeed. We made huge strides this offseason by getting quality backups for key positions ( Bush\ Campbell) and landed the best WR in franchise history and on the market and perfect fit.

BEARS were cruising to a nice playoff berth before injuries, no reason to think we wont be one this year and might even be able to survive an injury. Gotta be a top 5 team, and championship contender.

Like what I saw from Alshon too. Usually a learning curve, but if Alshon can emerge as a threat on the other end of Marshall, look out. Hell, even this 6''5 Summers kid looks pretty good. Bears turned their 2nd biggest weakness (WR) into a huge strength I think.

I feel the Skins will be sneaky good this year. Remember they had an awesome start to last season under Grossman. They've upgraded in a big way since then and their owner is affraid to spend the bucks to make them better.

It hinges on that offensive line, and I think it will hold up. Having Tice and the ability to audible will be huge. I also worry a lot about the aging defense and Urlacher missing lots of games. I am going to stick with my prediction of 10, 12 seems very optimistic having to play Packers and Lions twice, with Texans, Panthers, 49ers.

                              This!

It really is all about that line. Tice's system seems to be really popular, and Cutlers ability to get rid of the ball quickly now will really help. But it all starts with the line. The worst part is that our OLT is a damn waste land. We spend some nice draft picks trying to fill that position to no avail. I do like Carimi though, just needs to stay healthy.

The line is a lot better than when we were piece mealing every freaking game. I think it was the year where we played the Giants and they were going for sack records. That line was bad, and funny enough - I wanted Tice fired after that game. I am still not a fan of Tice, I thought he was the biggest fukkin moron to ever hold a clipboard when he was in charge in Minnesota.

12 is optimistic. I do think we get a bye though.

Yeah I wanted Tice gone too, but I think he was doing the best with the line that he could. You really need the Oline coach and offensive coordinate to agree, Martz was designing an offense that didn't work at with our line at all. Tice kept stressing in his interview last night that it all starts with the engine (Oline) and without they they have nothing. Oh and Michael Bush, that little shake and bake in the redzone last night was awesome.

Look for GB to if Harrell keeps on struggling.

Bears are improved, good draft and FA pickups. See what happens when you have a competent GM?

GB still has the best offense though, 10-6 for the Cubs.

BEARS were cruising to a nice playoff berth before injuries, no reason to think we wont be one this year and might even be able to survive an injury. Gotta be a top 5 team, and championship contender.

good to see someone without bias can see that. Bears were one of hottest teams in the league when Cutler broke his thumb... 7-3, coming off their 5th straight win. And as you said, their roster is improved, addition by subtraction with the firing of Martz and then add in receivers like Marshall and Alshon and Packers fans should be a little bit more scared this year than usual.
