I wonder how they convinced Busey to do the show. Despite his mental problems and him hearing only what he wants to hear, they probably did tell him that he would be more of a mentor rather than an actual patient. Sadly, Busey doesn't really belong on the show. He is more of a mental health patient rather than an addict trying to get clean. Amazingly, he is rather brilliant and has an excellent memory.

I'm not surprised that Jeff is back, 5 Star. He left early the first time. You knew he wasn't going to stay clean and sober. I am amazed he is still alive.

Busey reminds me alot of Hunter S. Thompson. the writer that "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas" was based on. Johnny Dept played Hunters character and was spot on.

Another great episode tonight, you can see people have a lot more clarity, like Tawny after a good week off of everything.

Yeah, most of us have clarity after getting clean. In this episode I found it odd that Sean Stewart still couldnt' say he was a addict during group. Then Adler losing it in regards to the "brain surgery" with Busey was classic. Gary may just find that he is a bit more mental than sick with addiction disease. Next weeks episode looks brutal, with emotion and past trauma.
