I have Verlander, Halladay, Weaver and Sabathia ahead. Maybe even Chris Sale.

Definitely among the top 10 in baseball right now. I'd say only Verlander is better.

If we're going to mention names like Sale and Sabathia, it'd be an insult to not throw out Lee and Cain while we're at it.

Verlander and Halladay are #1 and #2 when on top of their games. Weaver and King Felix are #3 and #4. 5th could be Kershaw, Sabathia or Sale.

Sale needs to put a couple of seasons together to be part of this conversation, Sabathia is mediocre and one of the most overrated pitchers in baseball. I will give Halladay the benefit of the doubt for now because he has had problems this year, but if he does not come back strong next year, I would drop him down on the list.

Even in the last 5 years. It's Verlander and Halladay. That's it.

Jordan Zimmerman > Chris Sale
Sale is very good but needs to pitch more than 150 innings in the mlb. Look at Timmay- Got lazy, smoked pounds of weed and now is fighting for a number 5 starter spot.
Sale is Frail. He needs to hook up with the melk man's man at Balco.
Get him a deca/dball stack and then a sustanon 2 fiddy cycle. hit some clen, clomid, and some trib post cycle and hit spring training at 220 lbs !!!!

lots of good pitchers now, all the normal ones people think of and also including kershaw, hammels, and cain
cueto, kuroda, bumgarner, voglesong having good years too
fatass and halladay get bumped out of top group by young studs now
