Opie PM me if you want me to delete this
"Opie" is actually an ex professional baseball player in the Diamondbacks organization, first baseman. Played about 6 years and got his pink slip when Mark Grace was traded there. His salary during those years is actually public info at this point.
So that's where the majority of his money came from, as far as I know.
Since then I know he's owned at least 4 businesses, two Marie Calendars restaraunts, a construction company and a car dealership. Not sure if he owns any now other than the construction company.
As for oil money or windfalls Guy grew up in a trailer. I've seen the pics. It was the REAL "8 mile" it was 8 miles of trailers just north of Dallas. So he certainly is self-made but it's from sports.
I've been working on securing a loan from him for about a month now. Thinking of starting up a hazardous material emergency clean up company here in OKC. Having friends in the right places, it will actually be easy securing contracts with companies and to get in the cities rotation of companies they call out in emergencies. ROI should be other worldly for him. He's been dabbling around in entrepeneurial stuff and of course is doing well, so hopefully when we meet it's with a check in hand
I think we should all know a little bit more about each other, hence why I posted this. If Opie is unpleased, I will delete but it is 100% true.

Nothing adds up about Diamondbacks...team only came into existence in 1997 expansion draft, played first year in 1998. No record of him until 2001 World Series team with Grace

He played a total of six seasons, not all with the d-backs. That was just the last team he played for as far as I know.

Kraken is sharp.
No wonder John allowed him to choose the inaugural HOF class.
Baseball was very, very good to me.
(All except for Mark Grace. He was a much more talented jerkoff.)
