If you had anything but a tica/tico marketing department SBR would try and bury punters lounge and bettingadvice
instead of US facing business policies
The US market could close in a day
one phone call to EL Presedente and that would be it

Young bucks don't know great forum was in 2008. We talked about sex, gambling, and Nicky Santoro. Handful of broads and jjgold in top forum as Hank Webber.

Half the visitors on SBR are from outside the US. No matter what call is made/not made the show will go on. US sports have phenomenal appeal world wide. I think we have it right. We need to get better at what we already do well. When it comes time to expand it will need to be through the acquisition process.

its not about the few dozen or so super sick power posting fools, like most of us

that is not the real clientele...

that is where guys like Bateman get it twisted and think they are important..

asian handicap scores and foreign stuff is where the market has taken this place.

it ain't about players talk dick jerking

If you were running a company why would you hire lazy entitled Americans when an Asian will work twice as hard for half the wage.

SBR still isnt in the same universe as Covers in terms of overall exposure and source material. So not sure what people think when they say SBR is 'winning'.

If youre talking specifically about the forums Covers probably has 5 or 10 times the traffic there as well, and their 'little kid' quotient probably isnt that much higher either.

But all these places (forums) have changed since 2001-2002 which was really the high point of them. They were on the rise in 2000 but didnt get fully integrated until a couple years later. But they also all pretty much were exposed and lost a lot of credibility as time passed on.

But for a few years they had legitimate people on them giving legitimate advice or plays. They also had legit advice and opinions on sportsbooks and their relevant safety. As well as guys that were truly tryig to hlep. There were obviously conmen and guys looking to take advantage but most were easy to see through. Even the administratrs but some people still got burned. That is when the downfall started.

Now forums (for anyone with a brain) dont matter at all or are at best a nice place to go and start some shit or get some wannabe smart guy's who thinks he knows everything panties in a twist.

There is no more sharing of info or legit reasoning behind anything that goes on in forums. it is simply a dick wagging contest between a bunch of guys that are and always will be lifetime losers.

Do the sites make money? Maybe, but no where near what they used to thats for sure at least in advertising. I am sure this one and a couple others that still bottom feed make something off kickback from losses of their so called 'member' posters. So while you dont have posters being led to the slaughter by unscrupulous site administrators they surely arent going out of their way to protect them or keep them from making osing bets.

there are actually OPs that main reason of posting is sharing great information/leans on sporting events..and to get the same in return...

90% little men acting big on internet forums, losing gamblers writing up "lock" and "guarnetee" threads daily ect ect yes, but there are OPs that are here only at SBR for handicapping reasons
