A few years back, my wife and I decide to go to the Pacquiao/Cotto fight after watching the last HBO 24/7 THE DAY OF THE FIGHT!!

She found us killer seats on the floor on Craig's List. Booked our flights and room. Had to haul ass to airport, got to MGM about 3 hours before it started.

That trip turned out to be probably the best time we've ever had in LV. Fight was absolutely epic. Our seats turned out to be right next to about 3/4 of the Chicago Bears starting defense. I literally high-fived and drank beers with Lance Briggs and Spencer Tillman the entire time. We both won at the tables that night. I even got a picture with Richard Steele waking thru the casino that night.

Bottom line.....a lot of times those last minute trips turn into your very best memories.

I'd go for it.
