What a COLD morning this morning!!!
Spent the weekend with the family and every year we attend the local Catholic church picnic. I always chuckle at these things since growing up my mom was Methodist and my dad/stepmom Catholic so I didn't grow up emersed in Catholicism however I was aware of the mannerisms etc.
So, I realized Alan and I are starting to get older when after winning $30 at the wheel games, we move on to the Bingo. I am NOT saying bingo is the old people game, but at 6:30 there were very few younger than 65 at the table... So we sit down and start playing while the kids are over at the damn cake walk (note: every year we end up giving away six to eight cakes simply due to the kids playing so much)
Anyhow, about 8:30 Father sits down to call the next game, beer in hand, on the school property, as we hear in the background the different gambling games being played and I realized I really grew up in the wrong religion...
So, I believe our countdown is now 5 Days!!!! Is everyone going getting excited?
