Ban On Betting Would Boost Ailing Economy, Gambling Critic Says

ScienceDaily (Sep. 25, 2008) — Congress should resurrect the nationwide gambling ban that existed through most of the 20th century to help soothe a fragile U.S. economy shaken by the worst credit and financial crisis in decades, a University of Illinois professor and national gambling critic says.

I doubt if it happens as far as Vegas goes, but online gambling may end for U.S. guys soon.

like how it is from science daily and it's by a "critic" of gambling.
I guess those science people and their formulas know better than Greensberg knew.

I got a formula , it's called "don't spend what you don't have and keep trying to keep up with the Jones , and cut your credit cards up!"

If the government would regulate and tax online gambling, the deficit would disappear in time. It is a much better solution than raising taxes.

Agreed. Better yet, why not find a way for the big Vegas companies to do business with legit customers online. That would end all this foolishness.

I'm just going to say no. It would help and if by in time you mean hundreds of years yes. Practical no, but it sure can't hurt.
