The media is killing Bobby Valentine and blaming him for how shitty my sox have been. The truth is that our shittyness should fall on 3 guys shoulders: 1) Beckett 2) Lester 3) Aceves. All three of them have been horific and have accounted for prob. half of our losses this season. The reason Valentine has to go though is because some guys are not born winners and do not have the appearance of a winner. When Valentine was on Baseball Tonight last year I thought he was an idiot. When he became our manager I still thought he was an idiot and I knew we would never win anything with him as a manager. I still thought we would make the playoffs but our pitching has been horrible. Guys like Torre, Francona, Larussa might have unsuccessful seasons but they always had control and knew how to handle tough situations. Valentine is a cop-out and needs to be fired in order to get a brand new start, even though I do not blame him for how the season has progressed.

I blame the players and the management.
Bobby didn't collapse last September. Bobby didn't sign Crawford only for him to be injured nonstop. Bobby didn't tell Adrian Gonzales to stop hitting HR's. Bobby didn't tell all his outfielders to get injured during the course of one season.
Some managers would of won a few more games with this team and some would have won less. Bobby manages a team and the the team sucks.Comment -

Exactly, a good manager will have their team play at high levels...are the orioles a good team? No, but Buck comes in and sends a message that they arent scared of big market teams and now they are ahead of the Sox. If ownership wants to give the team a spark or anything I would fire Bobby now.
