Vegas: Nice place to visit, sh1tty place to live?

GM your a compulsive gambler of course you would want to live there, Vegas is good if your a single guy ad like to gamble period.

I think Vegas is a complete shit hole and would never even consider living there. It is hard to live anywhere else than Southern California.

It's actually not a bad place to live as long as you are disciplined. It can be very easy to fall into some of the traps of -EV gambling, sex, drugs, partying, etc. But as long as you don't allow those things to consume you it can be a great place to live. There are a ton of opportunities here to make great money if you are motivated and have a good head on your shoulders. It's actually an entrpreneurial paradise. There are a ton of excellent places to live. The place is growing so fast that new houses and condos are available all over the place currently. Summerlin and Henderson are really nice areas to live. There are some very nice new homes up on the far north side as well. As expected, there are a lot of people that do give in to the vices here, however. There are a lot of homeless and some dilapitated housing, mostly in the downtown area. The cost of living here is pretty reasonable as well, as long as you don't live near the strip (which I don't know why anyone would want to). There are a ton of beautiful, single women here. Essentially, if you can control the vices here and can handle the heat in the summer, there is nothing but upside to living here.

Monkey....really appreciate the good time you provided when I was down there. Had a blast. I'd like to come back and visit some time, definitely would like to get in touch with you when I come back.
