We had a glitch in our software months ago that allowed customers from
Europe to sign up. We notified all customers who registered and closed
their accounts, and all customers who lost we wiped out the losses and
all that won we notified the customers that they would have to send in
their id within 30 days and we would send them their winnings.
This problem cost us some 15-20,000 but we paid every customer who
sent in their ids. There were 3 customers that did win $400 plus and
did not send in their id with this customer being one of them.
We notified all customers in Europe telling them that we plan on
expanding to their area in September, which has been postponed until
January.
This customer just sent in his id this week and we explained to him
that the time frame passed months ago to get his withdrawal and he
would have to wait until we started doing business in Germany in
January.
We are not properly set up at this time for id checks in Germany and
other European countries, as that has been the delay. We are in the
process of working with Moneybookers that will satisfy our id
requirements.
The customers who won and sent in their id back months ago were sent
their funds with only sending in their id and us having no way to
confirm!
Paying the customer is not the issue at all, as we could send him the
funds via
Moneybookers now, which we did not use months ago.
This customer had multiple chances to send in their id April 21st and
May 28th when 2 previous withdrawal requests were made and declined as
the customer never sent in their id. Now almost 5 months later we get
an id and the customer complains that we did not pay them.
This customer disappears for months and now finally sends in an id. No
way possible will this person get anything until their id is verified
as you would have to admit, it sure seems pretty fishy.
Please let me know your opinion on this if you think our position is
wrong, as I would be willing to bet that either account info or id is
bogus.
