Man ive nvr been a kobe hater but hes played like a total ass the whole olympics. When he touches ball hes taking tough contested shots the entire time. Even in his performance against nigeria he took 2 bad 3's contested that he made and his pattented fade away 22 footers but its all 1 on 1 play.

Ghengis Khan did not watch nba during the dream team run. They are not better than that team, but anyone that starts making these knee-jerk comments at halftime doesn't know anything about basketball.

Did you see today when Melo had someone posted up and Kobe moved into the post underneath him and refused to move? Melo had to eventually leave, Kobe got it and went out of control into the lane and turned it over. Total a**hole move.

Kobe's been taking those shots his entire career....he's the only guy in nba history that can make those contested shots. Let him take them. He brought home Gold in 08. He can do whatever he wants.

Yea you can do that on the lakers all you want but there is no reason a player on this squad should take a contested shot. He's not even passing out of the double team.

When a team has a that much room for error though--what's the difference between a 25 point win and a 40 point win? Nothing. If the game is on the line you won't see Bryant making those mistakes on team USA.

k guy. i already said dream team is much better than this team in many previous posts. you posted a dumb comment with 5 lol's attached--a display of your immaturity, implicitly ridiculing the team with 20 minutes of basketball still to play. It's all right. Everyone on SBR does it. Don't worry about it.

For most of the people that have come on here with their comments about the dream team, I'm the only one that has actually broken it down. Most just look at stats. The dream team played against scrubs. Magic and Bird at that point in there careers weren't even as good as a Kevin Durant.

If someone makes a statement in the NBA section and doesn't support it, then I'm gonna challenge that person to actually make a real post and not just some fukkin scribble with a bunch of attached emoticons like a little child.
