I actually expected a much much worse tank job. Marc Gasol, Calederon and Navarro are all banged up so they could have justified sitting them this game, like Brazil did with Nene. If they did tank they did a good job disguising it and won't be disciplined.

Its so funny to watch these posts..Now that I decided to sign up...My thing is before the game even started everyone knew the scenario that whoever wins plays the USA second round. So making the play and complaining about the tank job after makes no sense. I absolutely think Spain tanked..they didnt miss shots or turn the ball over on purpose but you could tell they didnt mind losing and didnt try their best.

To the first guy, why wouldnt you duck USA? If Spain plays the USA and loses in the 2nd round the best they can hope for is 3rd. The objective is to meet the USA in the finals where anything can happen. They know they will still be huge under dogs in the finals but at least by then they would have assured themselves 2nd. Im ducking the USA too if I can..Im surprised like someone said that Spain didnt just out right rest their players and played the bench
