I'm obviously cheering for Canada but I sincerely hope the Canadian keeper was warned for holding onto the ball too long before that call was made... then giving a PK is definitely a tough break for the Canadians.

Refs are international as well as them giving Canada a lot of opportunity early on. If there is any fix at all it's the over. I don't have a wager on this game either.

The hand ball in the box by Rapino that the ref "missed" should have sealed the game. Then the "missed" ball out to award the corner kick to US at the very end says where the ref is looking.....

Everything else has been a pretty even game. Very good game by both sides.

Womens soccer usually sucks but this game is the best soccer I've seen in a while.

On a side note the ref is retarded. She is retarded all around. Why the majority of womens sports want women referees is beyond me. These are the Olympics showcasing the best in the world. It's similar to the fencing match with 1 second left where the time keeper forgot to start the clock. Ya, he was a 15 year old volunteer.

That isn't the refs call it is on the line judge.

Honest question, what is the link to stats on fouls?

If that's the case she certainly should have been carded. This ref hasn't given many cards at all where she should have. If you're going to call a PK because you saw an intentional handball on a shot it has to be a card. The late US foul on the outside of the box should have been a card too.

Female players fake much less and ask for less.
