That's ridiculous. All those gymnasts, divers, etc. representing China (and other state run countries) aren't working day labor jobs. The best are chosen from a very young age and train in state run/funded facilities hours a day. That's their job. All for the glory of the homeland. Medal winners are rewarded with reduced mandatory military service time. Communist countries of old (East Germany, Soviet Union, etc.) did everything in their power to produce athletes to defeat the US. Do a little homework before spouting nonsense. And at a certain point population size versus quality of sports programs is negligible. Not that hard to find 25 decent athletes out of 30+ million.
