EDIT: Did some googling and basically whichever team wins this game will be in the same playoff bracket as the US and would face them in the semis. The loser of this game will be in the other bracket and wouldn't face USA until the finals.

2 ways of thinking about this if Spain decides to take a dive:

1. They shit themselves on offense
2. They don't play defense

What is Brazil's predicament with a win/loss. That is more important I reckon. If a win helps them this game will go over because: Spain may play retard offense and they'll give up plenty of easy fast break buckets or they don't play defense but still give some effort on offense. Either way Brazil will put up 90+

If a loss helps Brazil then we'll see both teams horribly fail at defense. However, they may both decide to fail at offense as well.

If the outcome has no effect on Brazil then they'll play hard to improve and Spain will let them. Spain will try to keep it close put will obviously lose.

At the moment it would be USA V Australia wouldn't it? Assuming team USA beat Argentina and Russia beat Australia this won't change. If Australia beat Russia then both sides will be desperate to win to avoid playing USA. Or am I reading into this all wrong.
