The Chargers at New Orleans to go over the total. Both teams had poor offensive games last week. Not that this stat matters, but these teams have played each other 6 times in 20 years. 5 games went over.
Both teams have formidable quarterbaccks in Brees and Phillips. Last week the Saints scored 7 and the Chargers 14 combined for a total of 21 points. This doesn't even equal what either team averages. And this just won't do. Both teams average 27 and 26 points offensively and both teams give up 23 points each.
I believe both teams will bounce back, and with the Charger's "D" a little banged up, I'll pick the OVER in this game.
