Betting won't be the same after baseball season ends. It was the best sport for a bettor to follow (entertainment wise). You could follow it on MLB.tv, listen to audio, or just watch Gameday, and the experience was always good. You experienced every pitch. Good for bettors because you had to watch until the VERY end to see if you win or lose if you picked a side. No running out the clock here, and a team could comeback at anytime.
Basketball just doesn't cut it for me, I don't know why. Can't really watch it anywhere, and following it on espn just isn't exciting.
Hockey is in the same boat as basketball, but I live in Canada so I do get a few games on Saturday, and I admit watching Hockey is great, but sucks if you can't watch it.
Football is all I have left, and half the season's over already
It's in the same boat as MLB, huge fanbase, and can enjoy it on TV, or following online at espn or the nfl website.
