#3Assuming a single-zero wheel and even bets on each column, he's covering 24 out of 37 numbers (64.86%) and risking 2 units to win 1. Over, say, 3700 spins, he's going to win 2400 units (3700*.6486*1) and lose 2600 units (3700*.3514*2). Net loss of 200 on 7400 units wagered, for an EV of -2.7%.
But sorry, I'm just a Lit major.Comment -

#4House advantage is 5.26% which is too big to play in my opinion. Betting two of the three columns doesn't make sense at all, all you're is covering 24 numbers to win 1 unit (2 units for the winning column and lose 1 unit on the losing column). Would be even money bet except there are the 0 & 00 which gives the house advantage.
If you're just playing for fun and tip a few drinks back and don't expect to win, then roulette is fine to play as it's slow pace and can bs with others and enjoy drinking. However, if you're looking for a better chance to win play craps or blackjack.
Try and find single roulette wheel which are the European wheels that I believe can be found at the Monte Carlo, but has higher table limits and a reduced house advantage of 2.63%.Comment -
