Fezzik hasn't made money in football for 3+ years now although creative record keeping prolongs the inevitable.

had back to back solid years especially last year as I started using teasers more often. As far as college thats a completely different story.

Don't bet preseason. Predicting 2nd string and 3rd string teams is stupid. Wait for Week 1.

I dont even bother trying to cap this crap.
I usually enter a MASSIVE survivor pool...usually close to 2,000 entrants at $100 a pop.
Fire in 5 or 6 entrants....keeps me entertained...and I dont have to deal with the typical Sunday grind that usually results in red numbers.

one of my favorite pools is run by guy in Jersey, like 80-90 guys. about $250 to get in. season long, pick 3 games per week, 3 pts for strongest, 2 pts middle game, etc. cumulative for season. most of the guys are office guys who do for shits and giggles and aren't very good. first place is 5k-6k and he spreads money out well. everybody uses same spread in wed paper.

make your bets on Tuesday before the lines move.

Sometimes the line can go against you, if it goes the wrong way.

                      anyone else??
I make money every year. But it's not as simple as just picking games against the spread. I mix in lines, totals, teasers, props, and parlays. I can't hit 55% just picking lines, but I can hit 60% when I mix all those things together. And the most important thing is to research each individual sportsbook and identify where you can take advantage of them. Shopping lines doesn't just mean Finding -7 (-105) instead of -7 (-110). You can find drastic differences in lines and odds if you shop around enough.
