I think its a long way from over. Last night showed us that.

In my opinion, the Angels are far & away the best team in baseball at the moment. No way I'd feel comfortable with only a 3 run lead against that group of mashers.

angels are only 14-14 in their last 28 games after that huge push
only 3 series wins in that stretch (kc, balt, tex)

they've scored 3 runs or less in 13 of those 28 games, some people think they throw up 10 every game but that's just not true

with all due respect opie, i think you are judging that based on how well the angels have played against texas the last 2 series, but outside of that they have looked pretty mediocre lately, losing 3 out of 4 to detroit and also losing series to nyy, tb, cle

I should have clarified. That didn't come across right.

I meant that I think the Angels are likely the most stacked team right now. When those guys are all hitting, like they did for the first few games here, that's a murderers row.

It would be hard to argue that Oakland has been the overall best team in the last month or so.

yeah that i agree with. angels have an awesome lineup, but so do the rangers. and the yankees.

i'm still thinking rangers/reds world series

why aren't you at the game opie? already cashed my over in the 4th inning so now i don't have to watch the rest but it's another fun one 7-6 angels as i type

Flying out in the morning to spend the next week at Torch Lake in northern Michigan. Lots still to do to get ready. Wife typically gets a little difficult trying to get herself, me, and the kid packed up and ready the evening before we leave town. Didn't want to push it.
