of course now they email me that they are not doing transfers. why do i get the feeling that if i told them i wanted to transfer in 5,000$ they would be more than happy to take the transfer? would you guys call this shady?

So, the customer service rep was being straight with you. If you tell them who you want to transfer with and how much, they'll let you know if you can be accommodated.

This isn't all that surprising. Most books are hesitant with these things and even if they do have guidelines laid out they make it almost a case by case situation anyways.

Betonline never offered book-to-book transfers before that I'm aware of. So why that customer service rep even said what she said is just laughable.

FWIW: You can find an updated list on which books currently are doing B2B transfers on blog sir.

They have no obligation to transfer you or anyone, however when I was doing some research on this a representative told me that they'd only do sportsbook transfers on a limited, case by case basis.

Maybe that's been entirely discontinued since then, or maybe it's just something they don't actively promote or publicize unless they're willing to accommodate select accounts. I wouldn't feel slighted over it, they're good with payouts so I'd just reup at other books manually that would take care of your inter-transfer needs.
