Isiah Thomas Overdoses On Sleeping Pills

Former Knicks President Taken To White Plains Hospital
PURCHASE, N.Y. (CBS) ― Harrison police were sent to the home of former New York Knicks president Isiah Thomas early Friday morning in response to a call that he had overdosed on sleeping pills, a source confirmed to CBS 2.

Thomas was rushed to White Plains Hospital for treatment, but his condition is not yet known.

Sources tell CBS 2 that police arrived at Thomas' home shortly after midnight in response to a 911 call from a cell phone and that Thomas' condition was being classified as an overdose.

Thomas was fired by the Knicks on April 18.

MSNBC just reported Thomas o'd on sleeping pills. He is still alive, and doing well.

Not sure if it was a suicide attempt or not.

Jerry West = Hall of Fame player = Logo of NBA...... Greatest GM in NBA history. Architect behind Lakers 12 finals appearances and 8 titles since 1980.

Isiah = the most hated in NBA especially the way he treated Jordan, spread rumors about Magic being gay and bankrupted the CBA after 50 years of operation. Too bad he didn't take more pills.

NEW YORK -- A suburban police chief likened the conflicting accounts of an accidental overdose at Isiah Thomas' home to a "cover-up" and rebuked the former New York Knicks coach Saturday for saying it was his teenage daughter who required treatment.

"It wasn't his daughter," Harrison Police Chief David Hall told The Associated Press. "And why they're throwing her under the bus is beyond my ability to understand."
