Wow. After watching Rogers and Delhausser squeak by a not very good Spanish team yesterday I gave up on Gold for the Men. This could really affect them imo they haven't looked that sharp Walsh is just such a freak she can make plays others can't.Comment -

Walsh is the one with the pink eye and that shouldn't be a factor. If you treat it early you can cure it within 36 hours. The cornea in the eye regenerates very rapidly. I would be more concerned about a matchup with younger foes. Age could be their undoing. There may be a good bet against in the near future if you research the other teams. Walsh/May are wife's and mother's now and will be facing hungry opponents in the upcoming days.Comment -

Walsh just hasn't looked good even before this story. She looked really bad in that match last night; her control and defense are way off. Misty's playing well and carrying them as well as Walsh's freakish length. I would not bet on them for the Gold.Comment -
Kessy/Ross had no business going the distance with Spain but that was a very ballsy effort in killing off 3 match points especially on on service. They have to be one of the most talented teams but they make so many mistakes one service. They have the talent for Gold but I don't see it happening, good to see them lock up the 4 seed though.

As disappointing as it was to see Rogers/Delhausser fall it's nice to see the Gibb/Rosenthal and the two women's teams advance into the medal round(s). All American Women's final? We might see it. Walsh/May just flat out unloaded in their last match, that was ridiculous.
