    Jonathan Broxton to the Reds
Report: Reds boost bullpen, acquire Broxton

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Reds have acquired Jonathan Broxton from the Royals.

No word yet on what Kansas City will receive in the deal. Broxton will team up with Sean Marshall as great bridges to elite closer Aroldis Chapman. The bulky right-hander has posted a 2.27 ERA in 35 2/3 innings this season as Kansas City's closer. He will be a free agent at season's end. All fantasy owners should rush to their waiver wires to grab Greg Holland, who will likely take over closer's duties in KC.

They didn't need bullpen help. They need some guys that hit for average a little better.
