They beat Dominican Republic by 54, but it seems real huge wins are rare.

Compare the 92 Dream team. Out of 14 games, only 3 were won by more than 53 points. 8 of those were Olympic games, 1 won by 53+

Team USA will take on Tunisia in their second Olympic pool game Tuesday 5:15 EDT.

And while this matchup is certainly nothing to write home about (at least ostensibly), it does introduce a few intriguing storylines.

After trailing the entire game and losing 60-56 to Nigeria in their first Olympic appearance ever (and only scoring 15 points in the first half), Tunisia will be looking to bounce back early against a far more accomplished USA team.

Notoriously scrappy, Tunisia will battle on the boards and fight for 50/50 balls, things that may cause problems for the US if they cannot control their penchant for fouling early. They can also hit from long range and have an athletic front line, including 6’8” Makrem Ben Romdhane, who scored 12 points in 12 minutes against Nigeria.

If Team USA blows the game open early as expected, first round draft pick Anthony Davis will most likely see extended action after playing only eight minutes against France. Kevin Love will also get more involved after scoring 14 points in 14 minutes in his previous appearance, a great boost in production after a sub-par showing during exhibition play.

I Took the +55.5 and the 53.5 Today.. Those Boys will have to show me If they can cover that much.. As long as Tunisia play tight defense the US will not cover or hopefully times run out before they do

I think the US will be up by 30-32 at half but with the reserves play 2h it will be a much slower game.

for the first half, I got the game parlay too.

Both are good bets the first half is more correlated, but I think Tunisia has a better chance to voer fo the game than the first half so not sure which parlay is better.
