    sportsbook.com tries sarcastic marketing
I had an account on a sportsbook.com affiliate that I stopped using a while back because I had concerns about their reliability, and shortly after they stole a lot of winnings from people who bet correlated parlays so I've never been back. But they must really want me back, as they email me at least once a week telling me about their great bonuses and sometimes even send me things in the mail. (the most recent thing was a bottle of vodka!). But I think today's email takes the cake:

Subject: Martin, thanks for not betting

    Hi Martin,

You sat on the sidelines while thousands of PlayersOnly.com members cashed in on college football last weekend and for that we’d like to say, ‘Thank You’.

College bettors brought home lots of cash on Saturday and to say thanks to those of you who missed out on the big day, we’ve got a special bonus this week.

Since I ignored your last 100 emails, you'll sure get me to come back by sarcastically mocking me for not taking advantage of your last "great" bonus!

It was something called "Player's Vodka" that was orange flavored. I've never heard of that brand and it tasted like Smirnoff to me. Maybe they're just rebranding Smirnoff in their own bottles!

Yeah they send me the same thing last year, and sportsbook sent some poker chips. Haven't played their since March maddness in 2006, except when they gave me some free credit on Birthday.
