Ever since he quit dipping he has been slumping bad. Until he starts packing a big fatty of copey or the bear he will continue to hit .137 and drive in no one. Fuking pack a lardy already gamblers need your bat in order to bet rangers. FUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

I would never sign this guy
If he finishes like 240 or so he will lose about 40 million dollars

Pitchers figured out how to pitch him
Its up to him to adjust now, pitchers have figured him out
Even I could strike him out
Just throw breaking balls that tail away outside and he will chase it every time
When he does get an inside fastball, he isn't prepared for it at all and swings and misses as well

It'll be interesting to see what offers he gets. A few months he could have gotten one of the biggest contracts ever, Now it'll be considered a big risk whoever signs him.

Doesn't seem like a guy who cares about money. He's been solid too, so I'm sure it's not suddenly the league has figured him out. He may just be in the wrong place mentally right now, maybe doesn't care about baseball now.

We had this guy in bar league softball one time that swung at everything with full torque and he sort of looked feminine where he whiffed alot but when he connected,he hit about 20% homers. We used to thing he was grandstanding selfish because we lost a number of games where if he would have tried for grounder singles he could have gotten crucial RBI's.Geesh,it's weird saying how many RBI's a guy gets in bar league softball.hehe!
All the big blasters in all sports have hangups when they go full force torqueing up.How many real big long driver guys even made the PGA tour.I remember hockey player defensemen like Gaston Gingras for the Canadiens in the 80's who had a deadly slapshot but he looked like a clown alot too where he had trouble skating.
I guess you sacrifice consistency when you go full force all the time.

Chi_archie was like this in volleyball. Always the heaviest hitter on the court bar none but NEVER would hit the easy roll shot when 2-3 people were blocking him; always blasting through blocks and flexing whether or not he won the point. Eventually it caught up with him when a blocker purposely put his foot under the net so Archie would land on it and break his ankle. Only guy I know who broke an ankle on the court and had the blockers laughing at him because they were sick of the abuse. He never played again.
It's more of an anger thing than anything, it feels great to try to blast every time and you can be the human highlight reel for only so long until it catches up with you.

Texas has a good farm system. That team is loaded with sticks, they can live easily without Josh.
They got kids like Olt and Alfaro that can rake.
Too bad Alfaro is more of a catcher/DH hybrid.
Mike Olt has 26 homers already this season with a little more than half the season played, he's a beast.

Maybe a bondage night with you and Bobby would get him back on point.
