Can Vegas mobile sportsbooks detect VPNs or remote logins?

I am 95% positive it can be done. As mentioned, the hack over rides the apps, not the other way around.

I'm just concerned on how to register with Cantor. Do you need a Nevada address? Or just leave a deposit and be physically in Nevada to wager?

Not sure if the Cantor Gaming Device Validator is actually a App, because you have to down it and the Cantor Gaming Sportsbook App. So you need two things on your phone to access their Sportsbook.

I'm pretty sure Locaid had spoofing in mind, hence the unspoofable reference up in the article I posted. But it will be interesting to see if any of you can get past it.

You have to sign up for the casino's players club, and that number acts as your Log-in ID. After you sign up for the players club, you go to the Sportsbook and sign up for the wagering account. Filling out a application. Not sure if it said you had to be a Nevada resident, but they do take a copy of your drivers license.

Yep. You can sign up at any Cantor Sportsbook. But that will be where you have to deposit and withdraw from.

They take a copy of SS, and ID, only so when you make a bet over 10K, they can auto-file the paper work to IRS. B/c obviouslt if you are using mobile app you will not be around to sign paperwork.

I live here in Las Vegas and currently use Leroy's iPhone app. I can make deposits over the phone and make withdrawals either at a Leroy's sports book or any PTs bar in town. They all have ATM type machines to place bets or make deposits and withdrawals. Very simple to use and extremely convenient. Lines are comparable to lines on sbr odds. Haven't tried to hack it to make it work out of state though. Would love to hear if someone figures out a way as I travel to CA from time to time

No. Hackers are reactionary to software developers.

Hacking iPhones (or any device that you have hands-on access to) is a lot different than hacking cell phone tower transmissions. There is likely nothing on the phone itself that provides sole location verification.

Onlooker...Id pay you $50 a month just to allow me to do this . Dont they have a login via computer too?? Why wouldnt you just leave a computer or laptop running at a virtual office and use THEIR wifi therefore the GPS is of the nevada address. Then login to the laptop remotely with LOGMEIN

Some people laugh at wanting to do this, but you could be talking 10-15 units per year. The benefits definitely outweigh the costs for people who aren't airbetting

I don't see any hassle for anyone. Throwaway phone is cheap. Teamviewer free and dead simple to use.

Why would you want the hassle of a runner and trusting other people with your money if you can just place bets yourself and money is always in your control.
