The beach is abandoned because people go to AC to gamble. If you want the beach, travel down south another 10 to 20 miles and you'll find tons of beaches with lots of people. Either that or go north and you can find beaches all the way up the shore. Atlantic City is a dump outside of the casino. I live in Jersey, take my word for it.

People hit the beach at 12-1 when the sun is up.Thats all girls care about is catching the rays to the fullest.That said the AC beach is pretty much always dead.People go there to gamble.If you want crowded beaches you have to go 20 minutes east to ocean city,sea isle,and yes the town is a college party town but Wildwood has big beaches that get packed.
