I'm no pro, not by any stretch of the imagination but I would guess that professionals.........
Manage their bankroll religiously.
Bankroll isn't and/or car payment, mortgage or light bill.
Understand and monitor lines movement.
Understand true meaning of value.
Aren't constricted to 1 or 2 games and have the finances available to spread it out across the board so that their knowledge of the market helps them stay ahead of the variance over a period of time.
Appreciate every dollar earned and invest it with the utmost diligence.
While your average Joe is.............
Convincing himself he has a clue.
More concerned about beating his chest than padding his bankroll.
Assumes team loyalty is akin to actual knowledge or that actual knowledge even matters.
Thinks knowing a guy who is dating a girl who once blew a lockerroom attendant for some team constitutes inside information.
Idea of a bankroll is any money they can beg borrow or float a check for until next payday.
