**brewers road trip vacation not going well

looks like the brewers are done after that sweep, family is in philly and a bit depressed.
maybe we'll get some batteries thrown at us at the game tonight and put us out of our misery


some observations so far:
1) sbr board is quite dead lately. must be others on vacation too.
2) cincinnati is super cheap. $1 food items at a stand at the game, river downs had free admission and $1 beer/hotdogs. parking was $2 on 6th street in a ramp for the baseball games.
3) pennsylvania sucks to drive through. yes ohio and michigan are hours worth of nothing but trees, but at least they don't charge you over $20 in tolls like these fukkers in pennsylvania.

4) there are a lot of rednecks in kentucky/cincinnnati area. jesus freaks, country music, etc. big country jamboree going on and it looked like everyone was getting drunk and screwing each other with cowboy boots on in the hills. come to think of it, that would've been great if my family wasn't with me
5) kingda ka and nitro are awesome rides. kingda ka is over 450 feet high, crazy

phillies were 0-42 when trailing after 8 innings, leadoff guy strikes out and k-rod gets ahead of pretty much every single hitter 0-2 before they find holes

leave it to the milwaukee mike family to drive all over the country just to watch the brewers lose in the most painful way imaginable

I too live in WI Mike, it's been painful. Spent my vacation in Eagle River - just had to listen to the Brewers fall apart. Are you going on to Washington? At least you'll get to see some monuments and history mixed in with the torture.

and in cincy it was probably 20% brewers fans, in philly probably less than 50 of us in the whole stadium

when people asked if we were really from milwaukee they seemed shocked that we would drive that far but we do it all the time

I would bet that Greinke was pulled because after this outing his perceived trade value will be at an all time high. The Crew needed this performance after shutting him down a start. If he won't take the 100 mil to stay and pitch in a park that he's never lost in, then you better get something for him.
