Yeah, Durant did it too.

The moment he picks up the dribble, his pivot foot is established. He isn't in forward progress thus he can't use two steps to stop his momentum. He also isn't in shooting motion until after he pivots.

If it isn't traveling, then wouldn't post players dominate with this extra step?
