Phillies have been off for a week and going vs a hard thrower in Kazmir, should come out a little rusty...so under 4 (-135) first 5 innings for me

With Hamels on the mound, Great Phillies bullpen, Rays being tough at home, Phillies have been off for a week, Im taking the under 7.5. I think this games is going to be like a 3-2 or 4-1 game.

Yeah I just dont see how this game goes over. Phillies Bats will struggle from having a week off from playing in a actual game. Hamels and Kazmir are on the mound and Phillies have not played on turf all season (if that matters).

The plays for me tonight are Tampa and the UNDER.

taking the under at 7.5 runs is not a good bet. I was hoping they would drop the total to 7 runs. I also think the rays are going to score 6 runs by themselves. I think the layoff is going to hurt cole hamels tonite. If you take the under 7.5, you have to lay wood (-120). If game 1 stays under the total, I would lean on the over in game 2. I am making a prediction that this game goes over the total in the 6th inning. The rays are also going to win game 1.

Kazmir hasn't exactly been very good over the last month and just because the Phillies have been waiting doesn't mean they won't come back hot. There are a lot of disciplined hitters on that team.

I agree. Lets not forget that the phillies did make the playoffs in 2007. Both teams are capable of scoring 7-8 runs by themselves no matter who is pitching. I think Hamels is due for a loss. I think hamels will get lit up.
