Practicing on the range they showed him do the walk up swing and he CRUSHED it both times and looked in perfect balance. They said he bombs it when he does this, and I wonder how many extra yards it adds.

Is this legal? Can you be moving into the ball when you hit it or do your feet have to be set?

I don't think the distance it adds would offset the number of times you'd miss the fairway.

btw the last time I golfed I did this for my last drive and it was by far my best drive of the day.
