two good hitting teams hitting during good conditions in daylight
keep an eye on Sale the rest of the year...
young ARM that has NEVER thrown this many innings...big jump from last two years already.
slight frame, lotta torque... throwing some high pitch count innings..
threw 115 last game.
I'm all over detroit and the over here

I always thought Archie was sharp
sale will wear down in the 2nd half and miss a few starts or end up on DL
Archie what organization did you play single A ball for?
I remember u played a few years in gulf coast league also but never made it to majors due to lack of velocity, sitting at 87-90

Sale pitches lights out vs DET. Porcello only allowed 1 run each start vs CWS this year.
The totals for these teams have only gone over 8 a few times this year.
Day game usually good for unders, too.
Fishy total..

Looked at it....it is tricky pick . I would stay away. At first look of stats...under seems obvious, but that ain`t the case. Over is the right pick but it does not seem to have a power for 9 runs... o/u line is on right place. I would`t pick that one at all...

no I didn't even make the GCL. I was in extended spring training for 6 weeks working on fastball control, but was released when short season ball started. Decided to go to college but was now ineligible for baseball at my school. Coincidently former cub pitcher Matt Clement who lived nearby and was in the padres organization at the time was taking some classes during the winter interncessions and we started getting together for baseball workouts together along another guy at my college named RJ who had spent about 5 years in the astros organization but hurt his wrist. He ended up breaking all sorts of college football records and spent some time with the steelers and browns. Anywh both these guys got me tryouts at various points but I barely got looked at, as I was seen as too short.
after that, two short shitty stints in independent ball.
I should stuck with CF or SS and not tried to make it as a pitcher

I like the Over 8.5. Tigers already hit Sale around a little bit once this year. Think Tigers keep this mini run going kind of like them for game too but just going with over in case Porcello implodes during the day like he has a habit of.

I can't believe the total for this game has not moved at all. I was expecting 8 or 7.5 by this point.
Sale 11-2 2.11 era
7-2 on the road
102 strikeouts in 110 IP
9 game winning streak and easily goes 7 innings
Has only allowed 2 runs or less since June 15th
1.87 era in 7 day games
Has only given up 1 HR to DET - G. Laird
Cabrera .000
Austin Jackson .000
Raburn .000
Santiago .000
Porcello 6-5 4.66 era
27 walks in 102 IP
2-0 vs CWS this season allowing only 1 run each game
Recently gave up 5 runs in 5 IP to the Angels
Prior to the LAA game, only 4 ER since May 22
5.2 era @ home this season
Walks less batters during the day
.143 with bases loaded
.222 after 3-0 count
De Aza .200
A.J. .000
Alexei .167
Rios .000
Very tricky total...

I won't gloat because I dislike when others do but funny how all you over people disappeared. Always feels good when the stats hold up. Cheers people who were smart enough to go large on the under.

Thanks man! Yeah it should not have been that close with Sale giving up a HR and then they did not let Sale pitch Jackson who got that last minute 2B. Sale is lights out on Jackson.

Nice hit on under I had Over 8.5 and lost by half run I don't feel too bad. Benoit getting that double play in top of 9th was huge.

Thanks man! Yeah I had to watch that game virtually pitch-by-pitch because it was blacked-out in my region. Sale is a solid SP but certainly learned he is no Jered Weaver today..
