After everything that happened to him as a pitcher, every extra day he was in the majors was a blessing. I think he got an early birthday present when they converted him to an outfielder.

yeah I was surprised how well the converting to hitter thing worked out. Amazingly accurate cannon in the outfield too. Steve Blass disease is a crazy thing
