not true at all. Nix has been very good in a limited role and Russel Martin is really starting to swing the bat second half.

I can't disagree w nix his role is too limited .. But Martin swinging the bat lately?? 2 for 11 since the break and 3 for 28 this month ..

yes but he is getting solid wood on the ball and his stroke looks much better...only a matter of time before those fall for base hits.

romero has solid numbers against some good bats for nyy

jays are desperate for a win in ny. if romero goes 7 they have oliver and then jannsen ready to close which are there best relief pitchers imo
jannsen has some good numbers against the yankees

kuroda can't be trusted - this line is still way to inflated. jays still have pop with the bat i wouldn't count them out today

Its moved because Kuroda is in no way a -180 pitcher. That being said I think he shows up today and pitches a good game.

jays have a pretty good lead off hitter and runner in gose. this guy is quick and can steal some bases if he gets on. he has lots to prove and will be amped. there is some motivation factors here, if jays lose here they are in trouble of being in a big slide which fuqs up there season. they r still in a running for a wild card and they have some young players who want to win. yanks can throw one away and can lay a egg in a day game during the week.

the jays also always come thru for RR. Even when he tosses a bad game they rally for him (minus the last couple games).
this will be a huge game for RR i think. this game will be a huge boost for them if they win going into Boston. They don't want to get swept by the yanks going into boston trust me.
yanks also travel to Oakland tomorrow without any rest which could factor in who they go to in relief of Kuroda. That is a long travel distance for them and with no rest could be a let down spot for them.
Jays have a day off.
