Mavs did a nice job rebuilding the team in 7 days.

This is one if the reasons why many of the star players are joining forces. U end up like dirk playing with a bare bones roster because management gambled on FA's and lost out.

Kaman is horrible. I don't think you can take his stats from NO over to Dallas. Theres much more expected from them.

I think Collison is a legitimate PG. May not be the best but could deserve the starting role.

The disrespect for Dirk in this thread is sickening. When was the last time Dirk did not make the playoffs? He still has a very solid bunch and LOL at the guy who said Golden State has a better roster than Dallas.

Kaman is a beast down low and now you have Elton Brand coming off your bench? And isn't Marion still there? To Ngates, Marion probably one of the only guys in the league that has a chance to defend Durant on the perimeter. Rodney is a good player too and OJ Mayo can easily guard James Harden, that's not even a question.

Maybe Mavs owner Mark Cuban is feeling empowered after he incinerated Skip Bayless in his own backyard on First Take, because Sunday night on Twitter he went after ESPN's top dog - Bill Simmons. What would cause Cuban to fire a shot towards Grantland's sovereign soil? It began when The Sports Guy didn't exactly give Dallas a ringing endorsement for their offseason signings of former Clippers teammates Chris Kaman and Elton Brand on Friday...

Put it this way: I wasn't crazy about Elton Brand and Chris Kaman playing together in 2006 when they were still good.

The Shark Tank star must have caught wind of Simmons' tweet as he eventually sent these stinging replies:

@mcuban @sportsguy33 Well to be fair, Simmons also didn't let an entire championship team minus the superstar walk away for nothing.

@CmackChase @sportsguy33 possibly because he has never had any involvement with a championship team.
