In Texas, if you as much hold the person or lay a finger on them, it's domestic violence. It sucks, but somebody is going to jail. As long as there is no weapon involved, it's just a misdemeanor. And these fukkin advocate groups about domestic violence, have risen to the height of MADD. Also in Texas, you're charged with domestic violence, you are a criminal of the State, the city or county don't have shit on you, except to carry out your sentence. Usually minimum 26 weeks of family counseling, 80 hours community service, plus about 2000 attorneys fees, another grand for fines and court costs. And the pure fukkin humiliation of just trying to protect yourself, you get the fukkin book thrown at you.
Dez, has got some shit coming from a team mate that will not sit well too. Jason Witt, has a foundation, and his biggest donations go to the family violence advocacy group in Denton County, just outside of Dallas.Comment -

The laws suck but they are the way they have to be. I may have told this story on here but my ex hit me from the side with a directv remote... was bleeding a little bit on my forehead... cops were called by the neighbors who heard too much noise I guess... opened the door with a hat on so they wouldn't see my head bleeding.
I didn't touch her, but if she said, 'officer, he hit me' then I'd probably be in jail. Just an unfortunate part of the way the system has to be because too many scumbag men beat on their wives that can't defend themselves.Comment -

I think I posted this last year but a friend of mine is an Arlington cop and he pulled over dez on a traffic stop for speeding. Dez said to my buddy hey man I'm Dez Byant! My friend said so that means speed limits mean nothing to you? Dez got real cocky so he went back to his car and got back up and ended up his two cousins that where in the car had warrants out so they went to jail. My friend is a huge cowboy fan and he told me he can't stand Dez and he's had a lot of run ins with Arlington PD.Comment -
