Before pulling the trigger on this play, I'd like to get your thoughts on this gentlemen. Because I just don't see both the Broncos or Patriots scoring at all tonight.
I'm thinking about going "All In" on the Under tonight

#2Please don't do it, Over is the way to go. If you can't take the Over just leave game alone and reevalute at halftime.Comment -

#6All in- I think not. But I do like the Under
I'm thinking of a Bronco/under parlay.
Now: o/u 48.5, waiting for squares to raise
Now: Donkeys +3, I'll wait for squares to move to +4

#8BBD, the Broncos are 2nd in the NFL in total offense and 30th in total defense. That fact alone means this game has the potential to be very high scoring.
NE is 25th in offense and 14th in defense but they still have Randy Moss. Who knows, maybe Cassel hits his stride in this game. He is playing a weak enough defense.
I just don't see going all in here BBD but if you do good luck with it.Comment -

#9Dan, I wouldn't go "all in" here, just my two cents. I think we have a decent scoring affair.Comment -

#10Thx....the only way NE can win is to run the clock with long, slow drives....passes 5-7 yards so Cassel doesn't get sacked. The Broncos should be able to attack the Pats defense but it may take into the second quarter to get things rolling as you know the Pats will throw as many complex defensive schemes as possible. The defenses need to play good enough to force 2-3 FG's instead of TD's for the under as well, which can happen. Pats have had to settle for a lot of FG's this year. Also, yes the Bronco defense is bad, but the Pats won't win this game if it turns into a shootout.Originally posted by darrell74Solid bet

#12It is tough to say which Broncos Offense will show up. If its the one from the first 4 weeks, they could go over on their own. If its the offense from the last couple of weeks then they don't get half of the under.
That being said, the Patriots Defense looks old and slow lately and I would lean over. You know the patriots are going to put up at least 14-20 points. The Broncos defense is not exactly stellar and has been much worse on the road this year. A couple things to think about...Comment -

#14Why shouldn't the Broncos score over 30 points themselves here? They have a potent offense and the Pats defesne is now old and slow.Comment -

#18BBD,
Going "all in" in a card game is one thing (you know what you have) but in the No Freaking Logic league, why would you even consider it?
Going "all in" on sports wagers is one of the quickest ways to bust the account. That being stated, you're a grown man do as you see fit.

#21Far too late to take the over. The total has moved 3 points in the wrong direction since the open. If I were to play the total, it would either be under or nothing. I would simply choose to pass. No edge in the play currently. I am on the Broncos +3.5 fairly sizeably, however.Comment -

#23I'll be on the under as well. Denver's offense is banged up and the Patriots are just not the same without Brady. Pats will pound the ball to control the clock to keep Cultler off the field. Only way their going to win is by controlling the clock and not giving up the big plays. That being said I like the under a lot, 24-20 patriots win!!!Comment -

#25Denvers defense has been gashed for an average of 25 ppg. On the flip side Pats defense have given up 89 points in the last 3 games. Both defenses are horrible, I don't see how this doesn't go over.Comment -

Denver has not covered spread in last 5 games, both road and home pass defenses stink.Eddie Royal will play, and open up Marshall down the middle, that will also get young and pittman going. The thing is will Bill let the ball fly at home against a divisional opp,on M.N.F,now that Maroney is done for the season D/K, thinking Broncs doin all the scoring and Pat's eating up clock, still researching?Comment -

All-in? Come on.
I agree with the UNDER call but saying "all-in", while it will get you attention on a forum, is a truly horrible idea.Comment -
