Please explain us the difference. Are you saying a higher deficit is a good thing? That a higher deficit can lead to a lower debt?

The budget deficit is currently about 1/3 lower than the one left to Obama.

OH boy. You take in money for the year and spend more then you take in this is the deficit. If you take more in for the year and spend less this is a surplus. Get it? The budget deficit or budget surplus is a yearly thing. The Debt is the whole ball of wax. Think of debt as accumulated deficits.

By the way Dick Cheney once said deficits were good. What he was talking about is when u start a war under cunning lies and bring in profit for a select few of his buddies, this is a good thing. Dick Cheney couldn't die soon enuf.
