Yeah and even if he has a crap year, so long as he's upright he'll be there long-term. You don't fork over $40M in year one just to get rid of a guy a year later, plus he's the much needed positive face of the franchise. His job is about as safe as it gets in the NFL.

Worth every penny, glad they got it done. Does anyone know if the suspended players count against the salary cap? is that maybe why they loaded it so heavily in year 1?
